I just saw the video of Ryan Moats getting pulled over at Deadspin. Here’s the search result over at YouTube. That is insane. I have friends and nieghbors that are police officers but that is really over the line. Can you imagine someone in your family in a hospital on the verge of death and he wants to talk about…insurance identification. Insane.

I don’t usually say things like this but that guy should lose his job. You have to have some sort of judgement in that type of situation. It sounds like he even had a partner that could have escorted him to the room in the hospital while one of them stayed by the car. Sad really.
Here’s the first part of the video. Follow the YouTube search link for the full series.

So what is screencasting? Well, one of the main features we offer is a very inexpensive content management system for your website. People want to be able to udpate their own content and I’m all for that. Technology shouldn’t be an obstacle preventing you from communicating through your web site. Still, people have varying levels of comfort with technology. So for some of our clients we’ll actually make screencasts.

Screencasting is using an application to record your desktop as you’re using it, including audio, and convert it into a flash animation video file that people can watch in their web browsers. To do this I use a software called CamStudio. It works very well and again, it’s free. Try it out.
