Pineapple Express

This weekend we went to see Pineapple Express. I love Seth Rogan so I was pretty excited to see it. I should have read the reviews more closely. It was NOT good. It was kind of a Cheech and Chong stoner movie but not nearly as funny as those guys in their prime. I was actually pretty disappointed. I’d also like to once again ask whomever owns the Calvert Theatre to do a little upgrading. Just let me be able to buy my tickets with a credit card for criminey sakes. I always forget to have cash on hand and have to hit the money mover. And don’t get me started on ATM fees. GRRR.

Iron Man

We caught a late showing of Iron Man last night. I’d been hearing all kinds of hype about how good it was and how good Downey in particular was. Well, I’m happy to report it was, in fact, a sweet movie. Terrence Howard and Gwenyth also did a good job and I love the cameo by Jon Favreau. My only complaint is the Calvert Movie Theatre (CMT). They have got to get on the ball and let you pay by credit card and reserve your tickets online. Would make things much easier. Come with me CMT into the 21st century
