The Annmarie Garden sits on 30 acres of land in Calvert purchased by Francis & Ann M. Koenig in the 1950′s. The land was donated in the early 90′s to serve as a place for a land sculpture walk. It has evolved into a place that is committed to connecting people to art and nature through a wide variety of exhibits, programs, classes, workshops, public projects, and annual events. Most recently they have built a gallery where local and international artists can exhibit their work. They had a black tie affair on Friday night that we got an invitation to because of Goofy Wildcat Design but we didn’t go because we couldn’t fit it in the schedule. So we went down on Saturday and enjoyed the entertainment instead.
