OpenOffice

I’m a big believer in opensource software. Mainly because you generally can’t be the price point. Free is pretty good. Along these lines OpenOffice might be for you. It’s a business application suite along the lines of Microsoft Office. One great thing about it is that you save your documents as Microsoft Office documents. What that means is that someone can send you a word doc, you can edit it, and send them back your edits as a word doc. They’ll be none the wiser that you didn’t spend $250 (approx) for the Microsoft office suite. I’ve used OpenOffice for years and highly recommend it. Visit OpenOffice.org to download the software.
